OKLAHOMA CITY — After a stunning defeat Thursday night at San Antonio thanks to Tony Parker's shot at the buzzer, the Oklahoma City Thunder returned home for its home opener Friday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Portland knocked off the Los Angeles Lakers in its home opener Wednesday night.
It was a tough loss to the Spurs as the Thunder held the ball and a three-point lead with just less than a minute to play. However, the trip back home was a chance for the team to get their first win of the season — and that the Thunder did.
Russell Westbrook poured in 32 points and Kevin Durant added 23 points with 17 rebounds as the Thunder picked up its first win of the season by a score of 106-92.
