Thursday action on diamonds canceled

March 7, 2014

Once again, Mother Nature was the big winner on the baseball and softball diamonds on Thursday, canceling all action.
Thursday high school games canceled were Heavener at Whitesboro, Gans at Panama and Cameron and Tushka at Wilburton.
The Heavener-Whitesboro game will be made up as part of a three-way beginning at 3:30 this afternoon in Heavener with Clayton. Heavener and Clayton will play the first game, followed by a battle of Bulldogs between Whitesboro and Clayton, then Whitesboro and Heavener in the finale.
Softball games canceled on Thursday were Cameron at Wister and Heavener at Pocola. The Heavener-Pocola game has been rescheduled for 5:15 p.m. Monday, but the Cameron-Wister game has yet to be rescheduled.
