PANAMA — The duo of Tristan Thompson and Nikita Bershirs combined on a no-hitter as the Panama Razorbacks blanked the Arkoma Mustangs 15-0 in three innings.
Thompson threw the first two innings with six strikeouts, then Bershirs pitched the third inning with three Ks.
The Hogs scored 14 runs in the first inning to put the game away.
Cameron 5, Fort Smith [Ark.] Northside JV 4: In Fort Smith, Ark., the Yellowjackets got their first win of the season Thursday afternoon as they jumped out to a 2-0 lead after an inning, then upped the advantage to 3-0 in the second inning.
Clayton 12, Whitesboro 5: In Clayton, in a battle of Bulldogs, the hosts from Clayton beat the Leflore County ’Dogs for the second time this season as Clayton rallied from a 3-2 first-inning deficit.
