LEFLORE — The Leflore Savages gave their coach, Todd Hackler, a nice birthday present Thursday night with a 49-12 win over the Bokoshe Tigers at the Leflore Gym.
Cameron 57, Gans 45: In Gans, in a game rescheduled from Nov. 18, 2011, due to the Grizzlies being in the Class B football playoffs, the Yellowjackets rallied from a 15-14 first-quarter deficit to get the come-from-behind win. The ’Jackets outscored the Grizzlies 13-8 in the second quarter to take a 27-23 halftime lead. In the second half, Cameron outscored Gans 30-22 to preserve the road victory.
McCurtain 67, Arkoma 40: In McCurtain, the Bulldogs, who led only by a single point at 16-15 after one period, put the game away against the Mustangs in the second period. McCurtain outscored Arkoma 16-4 in the quarter to take a 32-19 lead at halftime.
Wilburton 61, Panama 44: In Wilburton, the Diggers jumped out to a 13-8 lead after one period en route to a 27-14 halftime advantage over the Razorbacks.
