BOKOSHE — In a match-up of two of the top four seeds in next week's LeFlore County Tournament, the Howe Lady Lions showed why they're the top seed as they handled fourth-seeded Bokoshe 61-37 Thursday night at Bokoshe Tigers Fieldhouse.
Pocola 38, Cameron 26: In Cameron, the Lady Indians jumped out to a 10-3 lead after one period and were able to keep the Lady Yellowjackets at bay.
Whitesboro 55, Kinta 32: In Kinta, the Lady Bulldogs had a 17-12 lead after one period, but kept expanding on their lead. Whitesboro had a 29-20 halftime advantage, which ballooned to a 41-25 lead heading into the final period. At one point in the fourth quarter, the Lady Bulldogs got up by as many as 30 points.
Wilburton 48, Panama 47: In Panama, the Lady Razorbacks had two chances to win the game in the last 20 seconds, but both attempts just missed their mark.
Henryetta 63, Heavener 38: In Henryetta, the loss dropped the Lady Wolves to 4-7 on the season. Nothing more was reported on the game by press time.
