TAHLEQUAH — For the second straight time, the Tahlequah Lady Tigers downed the Poteau Lady Pirates in their final at-bat.
A run in the seventh inning broke a 2-all tie to lift the Lady Tigers to a 3-2 win over the Lady Pirates on Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Pirates tied the game at 2 in the fifth inning.
Pocola 11, Quinton 3: In Pocola, the Lady Indians rallied from a 3-0 first-inning deficit by scoring in every inning, including a three-run fifth inning to put the game into run-rule status.
Heavener 15, Eufaula 5; Heavener 5, Checotah 1: In Eufaula, the Lady Wolves ended the week on a high note by winning both games of Thursday's three-way.
Against Eufaula, the Lady Wolves, leading 7-5 after six innings, put the game away with an eight-run seventh inning.
In the win over Checotah, Lexi Moody, who fanned two batters and threw a five-hitter, used her bat as she hit her third home run of the week and was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
McCurtain 10, Cameron 2: In McCurtain, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning en route to an 8-0 advantage after three innings.
Red Oak 2, Panama 0: In Panama, the Lady Eagles scored single runs in the second and fifth innings, and made the lead stand.
Hartshorne 5, Talihina 4: In Kiowa Tournament, the Lady Golden Tigers, who canceled Thursday's road game at Wister due to being in the tournament, came up short against the Lady Miners.
