HOWE — The Howe Lady Lions got a home win Thursday afternoon by defeating the Leflore Lady Savages 11-5.
The Lady Lions broke a 4-all tie with a two-run second inning for a 6-4 lead after two innings.
After the Lady Savages cut the deficit to 6-5 in the fourth inning, the Lady Lions responded with a five-run fourth inning for an 11-5 lead.
Spiro 5, Whitesboro 1; Spiro 6, Buffalo Valley 1; Whitesboro 14, Buffalo Valley 4: In Whitesboro, Spiro went undefeated in Thursday's three-way, while the host team went 1-1.
In Spiro's win over Whitesboro, Spiro scored twice in the first and third innings for a 4-0 lead.
In Spiro's victory over Buffalo Valley, Spiro broke a 1-all tie with a three-run third inning and a two-run fourth inning.
In Whitesboro's win over Buffalo Valley, Whitesboro erupted for six runs in the first inning and never trailed.
Heavener 4, Stilwell 3; Warner 6, Heavener 3; Panama 5, Muldrow 1; Cushing 4, Panama 2: At the Oktaha Tournament, both local teams split their games on Thursday.
In Heavener's win over Stilwell, the Lady Wolves rallied from a 3-0 first-inning deficit with two runs in the second and single runs in the fourth and sixth innings.
In Heavener's loss to Warner, the Lady Eagles rallied from a 3-0 second-inning deficit with two runs in the fourth inning and four runs in the fifth inning.
In Panama's victory over Muldrow, the Lady Razorbacks broke a 1-all tie with a single run in the fourth inning, then used Hannah Goines' two-run home run to highlight a three-run fifth inning.
In Panama's loss to Cushing, the Lady Tigers rallied from a 2-0 deficit with a four-run third inning.
