Thursday's High School Softball Roundup

WHITESBORO — The Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs softball team got its second win of the young season Thursday afternoon with a 6-4 win over the Panama Lady Razorbacks.
Trailing 3-0 in the first inning, the Lady Bulldogs scored twice in the first and four runs in the second inning for a 6-3 lead.
Madison Stout's RBI single scored Hannah Goines for the Lady Razorbacks in the seventh inning to cut the deficit to 6-4, but they got no closer.
Wister 6, Cameron 1: In Cameron, the Lady Wildcats had a six-run second inning to put the game away.
Heavener 23, Sallisaw 0; Vian 10, Heavener 8: In Vian, the Lady Wolves split their two games.
In the win over Sallisaw, the Lady Wolves broke a scoreless tie with a nine-run third inning and a 14-run fifth inning.
In the loss to Vian, the Lady Wolverines trailed 4-0 in the second inning, but they scored eight runs in the second to take an 8-4 lead. Vian never trailed again.
Smithville 5, Howe 0: In Howe, Smithville's Lexi Watson, who plays on the Oklahoma Elite summer softball team with many LeFlore County players, hit two home runs to help the Lady Braves get a road win.
