Time to hang stands, check trail cameras

September 15, 2011

The family duo of grandfather Floyd Smith, left, and grandson, Wyatt McBride, are cleaning the fish they caught last Father's Day for an upcoming fish fry. Photo Submitted by Wyatt McBride

One of my former students, Wyatt McBride, and his grandfather, Floyd Smith, had them one heck of a day of catfishing back on Father’s Day.
They caught a good mess of fish, so they had a fish fry. There is nothing like taking kids fishing or hunting, and I will never get tired of that smile that they have when they are successful. Thanks for bringing those pictures to me, Wyatt. I like getting pictures of people (especially kids) in the paper, so if any of you readers have pictures, send them to me.
