Today is "A Day in the Life"

Here's a sample of the kind of photos and information to be published in the special "Day in the Life" section — 8: 30 a.m.: Bobby Cline, 73, pauses while laying rock at Tote-A-Poke No. 4 on north Broadway. Take your photos today — June 11 — and submit them by Friday.

Stop what you are doing, grab a camera and take a shot of what people are doing around you and send it our way. Today is “A Day in the Life” of LeFlore County residents and Poteau Daily News is looking for your pictures.
PDN is asking area residents take a moment today to capture a picture of themselves, co-workers, family or friends in their day-to-day activities. The pictures will be printed in an upcoming special section featuring the every-day activities of area residents.
The pictures will be accepted by PDN until Friday at noon to be printed in the special publication on June 22.
If you would like to submit a photograph, you can send it to Kim Ross at editor@poteaudailynews.com, Robert Shearon at publisher@poteaudailynews.com or bring it to PDN at 804 N. Broadway in Poteau.
Each picture should be labeled with the person's name, what they are doing, where they are and what time the picture was taken.
