Tornado recovery assistance sought from area residents

LeFlore County Emergency Management Director Michael Davidson said county assistance has been requested to help the Center Hill, Ark., residents in recovery.
Plastic storage totes with lids for those who have no home left to store what salvageable items they find. The second donation requested is retail store gift cards or prepaid debit cards that displaced or impacted residents can use for immediate needs.
If you would like to help you can leave your donation at one of four locations in LeFlore County.
LeFlore County Emergency Management located at 1215 S. Broadway, Poteau;
Poteau Chamber of Commerce located at 105 Reynolds, Poteau — inside the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center, amphitheater entrance;
Pocola Police Department located at 204 S. Pocola Blvd., Pocola;
Heavener City Hall located at 105 E. Avenue C, Heavener.
