WISTER — Friday night, the Wister Wildcats had to go overtime to nip the Howe Lions by a point. The ’Cats did not need overtime Tuesday night, but still had another nailbiting win as they downed the Cameron Yellowjackets 57-53.
The Wildcats jumped to a 19-8 lead after a period en route to a 30-21 halftime advantage.
In the second half, the ’Jackets outscored the ’Cats 32-27, but the first-quarter deficit was too much to overcome.

The Bulldogs outscored the Lions 31-30 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Lions from winning the regular-season title in the Green Valley Conference.

Keota 80, Bokoshe 23: In Keota, the Tigers trailed just single digits after the first quarter, down only eight points at 13-5. However, the Lions continued to add to their lead as the game progressed.
