HEAVENER â€” In a battle of the last two LeFlore County Tournament champions, the Heavener Lady Wolves [last springâ€™s champs] nipped the Poteau Lady Pirates [last fallâ€™s champs] by a score of 1-0 Tuesday afternoon. It was also a rematch of last fallâ€™s county title game.

Spiro 7, Muldrow 2: In Muldrow, LeFlore Countyâ€™s Lady Bulldogs beat Sequoyah Countyâ€™s Lady Bulldogs as Spiro pitcher Hannah Gilliam scattered seven hits to get her second straight win in as many outings this week.
Talihina 7, Hartsthorne 5: In Hartshorne, the Lady Golden Tigers got their first win of the season.
Talihina scored a run in the opening inning, but fell behind 5-1 after five innings. A four-run sixth inning tied the game, then got the come-from-behind win with a two-run seventh inning.
Red Oak 5, Wister 1: In Wister, the Lady Eagles handed the Lady Wildcats their first loss of the season.
The Lady Eagles had a 2-1 lead by the fourth inning, but Wister defensive miscues helped Red Oak pull away late.
