SPIRO — The Spiro Lady Bulldogs continued their winning ways Tuesday afternoon as they defeated the Pocola Lady Indians 8-3.
Heavener 13, Whitesboro 0: In Whitesboro, the Lady Wolves (10-2) jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the opening inning and never looked back.
Wister 17, Smithville 2: In Smithville, since the Lady Wildcats (4-5) could not play their game at Talihina due to the Lady Golden Tigers not having enough players because of an injury, they headed into northern McCurtain County and handled the Lady Braves.
Buffalo Valley 15, Leflore 5: In Buffalo Valley, the loss dropped the Lady Savages to 0-2 on the season, but a bright spot was Kylie Carpenter as she had a two-hit game in defeat.
Pittsburg 14, Leflore 3: Monday in Pittsburg, RBI singles by Kylie Carpenter and Alicia Taylor put the Lady Savages on top 2-0 in the opening inning.
