CAMERON — The Cameron Yellowjackets baseball team swept two games from county rival Wister on Tuesday, taking Game 1 by a score of 6-5 and Game 2 by a 4-1 score.
Leflore 11, Howe 3: In Leflore, trailing 2-0 after the top of the first inning, the Savages scored three runs in the first and three more in the fourth for a 6-2 lead after four innings.
Whitesboro 3, Panola 1; Whitesboro 16, Battiest 11: In Whitesboro, the Bulldogs (3-10) won twice on the same day for the first time this season.
In the win over the Bearcats, Hunter Sisemore had two runs batted in, while Sawyer Adams got his first pitching victory as he walked no batters and struck out eight.
In the victory over the Panthers, the ’Dogs trailed 10-5 after a seven-run second inning by Battiest.
However, a seven-run fourth inning, highlighted by Joe Smith's grand-slam home run, propelled Whitesboro into a 16-11 lead.
