RED OAK — The Poteau Pirates returned to their winning ways Tuesday afternoon with an 8-5 road win over the Red Oak Eagles.
The Pirates broke a 4-all tie with a single run in the fourth inning and a three-run fifth inning for an 8-4 lead.
Talihina 6, Whitesboro 2: In Talihina, the Golden Tigers won for the second straight game, breaking a 1-all tie with a two-run second inning for a 3-1 lead.
Spiro 20, Muldrow 10: In Spiro, the LeFlore County ’Dogs won the battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon.
Trailing 10-4 in the third inning, Spiro scored eight runs in each of the next two innings to take a 20-10 lead after four innings.
Panama 9, Kinta 1: In Kinta, Panama pitcher Ryan Shirey pitched a one-hitter with six strikeouts to keep the Razorbacks undefeated.
