WISTER — The Wister Wildcats baseball team keeps rolling along. The ’Cats run ruled the Smithville Braves 12-0 Tuesday afternoon.
Red Oak 8, Cameron 3: In Cameron, the Yellowjackets (14-7) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening inning.
The game stayed that way until the fifth inning when the Eagles tied the game at 2-2, then scored six runs in the sixth to take an 8-2 lead.
Buffalo Valley 14, Whitesboro 3: In Whitesboro, the Bulldogs (9-11) jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but the Buffalos roamed their way to a 6-2 lead in the fourth inning. Then, Buffalo Valley's eight-run fifth inning ended the game by run rule.
Editor's Note — Leflore's home game with Calvin did not take place, and will likely not be rescheduled.
