The Savages jumped out to a 17-6 lead after one period en route to a 28-17 halftime advantage.
Whitesboro 74, Buffalo Valley 52: In Buffalo Valley, the Bulldogs clawed their way to a 16-2 lead after a period and never looked back.
McCurtain 58, Howe 57: In McCurtain, the Bulldogs, who trailed 54-50 with about two minutes left to play, outscored the Lions 8-3 the rest of the way.
The Lions, who had 19 turnovers in the game and were only 3-of-11 from the free-throw line, had a chance to tie the game at 58-all at the end of regulation, but Gaven Brown's 3-point attempt missed the mark.
