CAMERON — The Cameron Yellowjackets ran their winning streak to five games after they stung the Bokoshe Tigers 72-43 to celebrate homecoming Tuesday night at the Cameron Gym.
The ’Jackets jumped out to a 20-9 lead after one period and continued increasing their lead from that point.
Pocola 60, Stigler 50: In Pocola, the Indians (1-0) rallied from a 25-21 halftime deficit to get the come-from-behind victory to start the season.
Pocola outscored Stigler 21-16 in the third quarter and doubled the Panthers 18-9 in the final period to seal the deal.
Whitesboro 60, Battiest 51: In Whitesboro, leading 16-15 after the opening period, the Bulldogs outscored the Panthers 15-6 in the second period to take a 33-21 lead at halftime.
Arkoma 51, Gans 36: In Gans, the Mustangs galloped their way to a 16-5 lead after one period, which became a 28-16 halftime advantage.
Howe 61, Panola 33: In Panola, the Lions jumped out to a 20-7 lead after one period and clawed their way to a 28-point victory over the homestanding Bearcats.
McCurtain 67, Leflore 44: In Leflore, the Bulldogs had a 17-12 lead after a period, and slowly increased their lead from there.
