Mother Nature was the big winner Tuesday night as she snowed out all of the Tuesday high school slate of basketball for LeFlore County.
Games snowed out were Stilwell at Poteau, Arkoma at Panama, Wister at Cameron, Leflore at Whitesboro, Pocola at Talihina, Keota at Bokoshe, Wilburton at Heavener, Howe at McCurtain and Spiro at Muldrow.
The Pocola-Talihina and Wilburton-Heavener games have been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. (girls) and 8 p.m. (boys) on Thursday night. Talihina's originally-scheduled Thursday night match-up at home with Broken Bow has been postponed and will not be made up.
Howe's games at McCurtain will be at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Monday, while the Leflore-Whitesboro games will be the same times on Tuesday.
The Wister-Cameron games are being tentatively rescheduled for 6:30 and 8 p.m. Saturday, but Cameron Athletic Director Roy Butler said a decision will be made on that today.
The Spiro-Muldrow games have been rescheduled for 6:30 and 8 p.m. Feb. 17.
The Stilwell-Poteau, Arkoma-Panama and Keota-Bokoshe have not been rescheduled at this time.
Carl Albert State College's road games at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M were canceled for a second straight night in Miami. The teams were to have met Monday night but were canceled due to weather and was originally rescheduled for Tuesday night â€” which then got canceled due to weather.
The CASC teams will play at NEO at 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday in Miami. The CASC teams are still scheduled to play Thursday night at Seminole State College at 6 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men), respectively.
