Tuesday's High School Girls Basketball Roundup

McCURTAIN — Despite turning the ball over 24 times Tuesday night, the Howe Lady Lions found a way to claw their way to a 59-50 road win over the McCurtain Lady Bulldogs.
Down 20-18 after a period, the Lady Lions outscored the Lady Bulldogs 16-10 in the second quarter to take a 34-30 halftime lead. Then, Howe outscored McCurtain 25-20 to kept the hosts at bay.
Whitesboro 52, Buffalo Valley 43: In Buffalo Valley, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 16-5 lead after one period.
While they never lost the lead, the Lady Buffaloes made a third-quarter rally to get the game close. However, the Lady Bulldogs were able to withstand the run and keep them at bay.
Kinta 58, Leflore 16: In Leflore, the Lady Eagles soared to a 17-4 lead after one period and were never headed.
