PANAMA — Stephanie Barcheers hit two free throws with 5.9 seconds left to play to lift the Panama Lady Razorbacks to a 50-49 victory over the Keota Lady Lions on Tuesday night.
Heavener 60, Western Yell County, Ark., 39: In the Gary Ford Invitational in Hartford, Ark., the Lady Wolves got their season off on the right foot with a come-from-behind win.
Trailing 33-29 after three periods, Heavener outscored Western Yell County 30-6 in the fourth quarter to get the comeback victory for the Lady Wolves, who played in the championship semifinals Wednesday night.
Antlers 74, Wister 59: In the Pick and Shovel Classic in Hartshorne, the Lady Bearcats jumped out to a 23-9 lead after a period to take control of the game.
Stigler 46, Pocola 28: In Stigler, down 8-2 in the opening period, the Lady Panthers got the game tied at 8 after a period, then outscored the Lady Indians in the second quarter 14-5 to take a 22-13 halftime lead.
