HOWE — A strong first half proved to be the difference for the Howe Lady Lions in their 60-46 win over the Arkoma Lady Mustangs on Tuesday night.
The Lady Lions jumped out to a 16-7 lead after one period and took a 35-16 advantage into the locker room at halftime.
Whitesboro 47, Panola 18: In Whitesboro, the Lady Bulldogs had an 11-0 lead after one period and never looked back.
Heavener 58, Hartshorne 32: In Hartshorne, the Lady Wolves took control of the game early as they jumped out to a 19-5 lead after a quarter.
Spiro 55, Hulbert 29: At the Bedouin Shrine Classic in Muskogee, the Lady Bulldogs had a 24-22 lead at halftime, but outscored the Lady Riders 23-2 in the third quarter to take a 47-24 lead into the final period.
McCurtain 67, Bokoshe 65: In Bokoshe, the Lady Tigers led 52-50 after three periods, but the Lady Bulldogs outscored them 17-13 in the final quarter.
Keota 67, Cameron 42: In Cameron, the Lady Lions, who trailed 9-6 after a period, outscored the Lady Yellowjackets 16-6 in the second quarter for a 22-15 lead at halftime. Then, Keota outscored Cameron 45-27 in the second half.
