WISTER — The Heavener Lady Wolves got their first win of the 2012-13 campaign Tuesday night as they picked up a road victory over the Wister Lady Wildcats by the score of 51-43.
Leading 26-23 at halftime, the Lady Wolves outscored the Lady ’Cats 17-8 in the third quarter to enter the final period with a 43-31 advantage.
Pocola 44, Quinton 29: In Pocola, the Lady Indians got their first win of the season as they led pretty much from start to finish. Pocola led 12-8 after one period en route to a 20-14 halftime advantage.
Panama 58, Keota 51: In Keota, the Lady Razorbacks got their first win of the season, led virtually the entire game. Taylor Eaves' buzzer-beating 3-point basket to end the first half put Panama ahead 28-18 at the break.
Spiro 72, Eufaula 68: In Eufaula, the Lady Bulldogs (1-0) started slow, trailing 14-10 after a period, but they outscored the Lady Ironheads 62-54 over the final three quarters to get the come-from-behind win in their season opener.
