ARKOMA — It took a half, but the Arkoma Lady Mustangs got the Bokoshe Lady Tigers corraled for a 71-42 victory Tuesday night at the Arkoma Gym.
Leading 34-28 at halftime, the Lady Mustangs outscored the Lady Tigers 16-4 in the third quarter to take a 50-32 lead into the final period.
Arkoma will have four games in the next five days, entertaining Porum tonight and Keota Friday night, then visiting Keota on Monday and Panama on Tuesday.
Howe 59, Cameron 27: In Howe, the Lady Lions jumped out to a 10-4 lead after one period en route to a 30-6 halftime advantage.
Heavener 45, Pocola 37: In Heavener, the Lady Wolves broke a 9-all tie after the first quarter by outscoring the Lady Indians by three points, 10-7, in the second period to take a 19-16 halftime lead.
After Pocola cut the deficit to 32-30 after three quarters, Heavener outscored Pocola 13-7 in the final period to preserve the win.
Talihina 61, Hartshorne 50: In Talihina, the Lady Golden Tigers jumped out to a 15-9 lead after a period and never trailed after that.
Panama 47, Keota 44: In Keota, the Lady Razorbacks, who trailed 44-38 in the final period, scored the final nine points of the game to get the comeback win.
Spiro 59, Roland 39: In Roland, the Lady Bulldogs led 13-11 after a period, 24-19 at halftime and 41-29 after three quarters.
Smithville 48, Whitesboro 42: In Smithville, the Lady Braves rallied from a 30-27 deficit after three quarters by outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 21-12 in the final period.
McCurtain 56, Wister 49: In McCurtain, the Lady Bulldogs rallied from a 27-25 halftime deficit to get the come-from-behind win at home.
