SPIRO — The Spiro Lady Bulldogs defeated the Heavener Lady Wolves 8-3 on Senior Day Tuesday afternoon as three Spiro seniors — Kaylee Cox, Braylin Gray and Katie Gentry — played their last regular-season game on their home field.
Howe 17, Gans 9: In Howe, the Lady Lions got their first win of the season. Trailing 7-0 after two innings, the Lady Lions got the deficit cut to 9-8 after four innings.
Then, Howe took control with a five-run fifth inning and a four-run sixth inning to get the run-rule victory.
Wister 3, McCurtain 2; Wister 11, McCurtain 3: In Wister, the Lady Wildcats took a pair of Green Valley Conference games from the Lady Bulldogs.
Quinton 4, Talihina 1; Broken Bow 4, Talihina 3: In Talihina, the Lady Golden Tigers suffered a pair of home losses on Tuesday.
Keota 11, Bokoshe 0; Keota 15, Bokoshe 1: In Keota, the Lady Tigers suffered a Green Valley Conference sweep at the hands of the Lady Lions.
