WESTVILLE — The Heavener Lady Wolves came in second at the Westville Tournament on Tuesday.
Heavener ended up getting beat twice by the host Yellowjackets, 11-10 in the title game and 3-0 in the winner's-bracket final. Heavener routed Roland 13-0 in the loser's-bracket final.
Panama 2, Cameron 0: In Cameron, the Lady Razorbacks broke a scoreless tie with a two-run sixth inning.
Arkoma 2, McCurtain 1; Arkoma 10, McCurtain 1: In Arkoma, the Lady Mustangs swept a pair of games from the Lady Bulldogs.
Wister 10, Keota 0: In Wister, Hunter Gibson threw a one-hitter with seven strikeouts for the Lady Wildcats, and aided her own cause with a 2-for-3 game with a run scored.
Wister scored three runs in second and third innings for a 6-0 lead, then put the game into run-rule status with a four-run fourth inning.
Howe 4, Gans 0: In Gans, the Lady Lions scored twice in each of the first two innings.
Whitesboro 23, Clayton 3: In Clayton, the Lady Bulldogs scored 12 runs in the first inning and never looked back.
