Tuesday's High School Softball Roundup

September 22, 2011

HEAVENER — The Heavener Lady Wolves ended their regular season in dramatic fashion in Tuesday's home three-way against the Talihina Lady Golden Tigers and the Howe Lady Lions.
The Lady Wolves had a pair of fifth-inning rallies to down Talihina 3-2 and Howe 9-8.
Talihina won the middle game 7-1 over Howe, but no more information on that game was reported.
Spiro 8, Wister 1: In Wister, the Lady Bulldogs (17-7) broke a 1-1 tie with a seven-run fifth inning.
Editor's Note — Look for the details on Pocola's road game at Sallisaw in Friday's edition. Also, Leflore's game at Kinta did not take place because Kinta did not have enough players. The game will not be rescheduled.
