WISTER â€” Despite having to move their home game from Howe to Wister Monday, the Howe Lady Lions still produced a 19-6 victory over the Arkoma Lady Mustangs.
The Lady Lions led from start to finish, leading 2-0 after an inning, then scored six runs in the sixth inning â€” four of which came on Alli Ford's inside-the-park grand-slam home run â€” to win by run rule.
Whitesboro 9, Cameron 7; Whitesboro 17, Leflore 2; Cameron 15, Leflore 0: In Whitesboro, the Lady Bulldogs got a pair of wins on their home field.
In the win over Cameron, the Lady Bulldogs scored once in the third inning and two runs in the fourth inning to rally from a 7-6 deficit.
In Whitesboro's win over Leflore, the Lady Bulldogs put the game away early with a 15-run first inning.
Nothing more than the final score was reported on the Cameron-Leflore game.
Pocola 11, Panama 10; Panama 4, Spiro 3; Pocola 8, Spiro 6: In Pocola, the Lady Indians rallied from a 5-0 deficit to down their archrivals.
In Panama's win over Spiro, Hannah Goines' second home run of the season, a solo shot in the fourth inning tied the game at 3-3, then the Lady Razorbacks scored the game-winning run in the fifth inning.
In Pocola's win over Spiro, Meochea McKesson hit two inside-the-park homers in a losing effort for the Lady Bulldogs, her second and third round trippers of the season in a losing effort. Megan Shaw scored twice, and Braylin Gray and Tiffany Woods each scored once for Spiro.
Wister 8, Talihina 5: In Talihina, the Lady Wildcats rallied from a 3-0 first-inning deficit to get the victory.
