BOKOSHE — The Cameron Lady Yellowjackets returned to the win column not once, but twice, as they swept a Green Valley Conference doubleheader from the Bokoshe Lady Tigers by scores of 15-8 and 11-3 Tuesday afternoon.
Talihina 2, Pocola 1; Pocola 3, Sallisaw 2; Sallisaw 9, Talihina 4: In Pocola, all three teams split their games in the three-way.
Wister 2, Spiro 1: In Spiro, the Lady Wildcats rebounded from Monday afternoon's heart-breaking loss to Panama. Wister scored twice in the first inning, and pitcher Bryanna Warren made the lead stand up as she struck out six batters in the win.
Whitesboro 19, Clayton 1: In Whitesboro, the Lady Bulldogs got their second win of the season.
Trailing 1-0 after an inning, the Lady Bulldogs scored all 19 runs in the second inning.
Heavener 8, Stigler 6; Heavener 8, Eufaula 0: In Stigler, the Lady Wolves (9-13) won both of their games in Tuesday's three-way.
Keota 8, Arkoma 0; Keota 12, Arkoma 0: In Keota, the Lady Lion pitcher no-hit the Lady Mustangs twice.
Arkoma will play two games on Saturday at the Robbers Cave Shootout in Wilburton, facing Gore at 11:10 a.m. followed by a 12:20 p.m. game against the Wilburton junior varsity.
Editor's Note — Howe's games at Red Oak on Tuesday were junior varsity only. Panama's home game this afternoon with Oktaha was canceled and will not be rescheduled.
