Two Heavener runners medal at Prague Invitational on Saturday; Lady Wolves, Wolves will run today at Mena

PRAGUE — Two Heavener High School cross country runners medaled at the Prague Invitational on Saturday.
In the boys division, Arturo Ortega was 11th with a time of 19:35. It marked the second straight meet to medal as he also did so in the Henryetta Invitational on Sept. 7 as he was 26th (20:16).
Barbara Johnson medaled in the girls race, finshing 13th (15:05).
As for other results, Frank Cruz was 28th (21:25) in the boys race, followed by Octavio Sanchez in 34th place (21:40), Esteban Martinez in 41st place (22:31), James Cinocca in 52nd place (23:50), Jacob Robertson in 59th place (25:47) and Aaron Baker in 68th place (32:48).
Gloriann Staines was 26th (16:20) in the girls division, Johna Enger 35th (17:12), Ali Paxton 39th (17:33) and Brenda Macias 48th (19:06).
The Lady Wolves and Wolves will run in the Mena (Ark.) Invitational today, which will begin at 3:30 p.m.

The Poteau High School cross country runners were stormed out of Thursday's East Central University Invitational in Ada.
They will run at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Tulsa Washington Invitational at O'Brien Park in Tulsa.
