August 24, 2012

Two men were arrested after deputies reportedly found property from a stolen state vehicle in their possession.

Moments after state employees reported their oil truck stolen, deputies with the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department located the vehicle and arrested two men.
Frank Alan Detter, 52, of Muse, and Charles Downing, 34, of Hodgen, are facing charges of larceny of an automobile in connection with the theft.
The arrest report shows a battery and Kenwood stereo stolen from the state vehicle were found in Detter and Downing's possession. The two men were stopped by deputies near the location of the abandoned vehicle.
Detter is free on a $12,500 bond and was also arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance - methamphetamines. Downing is being held in the LeFlore County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
