Two people arrested for child endangerment

The Wister Police Department arrested two people Saturday night after they found minor children living in garbage and filth.

Two people were arrested Saturday night after Wister Police Department reportedly discovered children living among garbage, animal feces and rotten food.
Jonathon Glover, 23, and Jennifer Ford, 27, both of Wister are being held in the LeFlore County Detention Center on charges of child endangerment, child neglect and trespassing.
According to the arrest report, police found two toddlers in need of medical attention and living in a home with animal feces, garbage and rotten food in the floors.
Oklahoma Department of Human Services was notified of the situation and reportedly advised the police department to release the children to Ford's brother.
Both are being held without bond until they appear before a judge.
