A Mason himself, LeFlore County Commissioner for District 3, Freddie Cox, is placing some mortar on the stone which will be placed on the courthouse building. This is a symbolic ritual that brings prosperity and good fortune to the community and was first recognized by Mason George Washington who placed a cornerstone on the nations Capitol in 1793.   Below: A time capsule will be placed behind the stone.
