| Top, Poteau Police Chief B.J. Smith presented retiring Police Officer Steve Odom with a plaque commending him on his 23 years of faithful service to the city. Odom, who retired on Jan. 31, was honored with a retirement party on Monday. Bottom, Odom is proud to see his two sons following in his footsteps. Younger son Brad (left) is currently attending the Police Academy. Older son Wes (right) is an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper. The boys joined their father at the retirement party.
