The newest addition to Dr. Phil Chitwood’s veterinary practice, Dr. Perry White, helps Charlie with his annual checkup. White hopes to work more closely with exotic wildlife than with dogs and cats, but he’s happy to help a dog in need.
By Jenny Huggins News Reporter There’s a new veterinarian in town. Dr. Perry White has joined Dr. Phil Chit-wood’s veterinary practice. The two met during the summer of 2007 when White and his family came to Poteau to spend time with family members. Dr. Chitwood stated that his office doing a lot of business and that he needed another doctor to help. White wants to expand the services at the veterinary clinic from mainly dogs and cats to more exotic creatures. He is a licensed falconer so he especially enjoys working with birds.
