PDN photo by Jenny Huggins Friday's storm moved quickly through northern LeFlore County before wielding its wrath on Arkansas. Carrying high winds and huge hail the storm also left power outages in its path. OG&E workers were called to Spiro where a transmission wire broke knocking out power in Spiro, Pocola and Panama for more than an hour. Baseball and golf ball sized hail fell throughout the area creating damage to gardens and trees and shattering car windshields. Trees were knocked down and scattered on side streets as well as on main roads in Pocola. The storm moved into LeFlore County around noon and was nearly gone by 2 p.m.
