Poteau firefighters had a busy Friday.  A small grass and structural fire was extinguished early in the day at the home of Steve McCain after the wind got out of control while he was burning trash and grass. When the fire moved to the nearby shed he called the fire department. At approximately 3 p.m. firefighters were called out again to extinguish a fire in a truck after the dash wires shorted out.
