GUNS 'N HOSES: The results are in for the Poteau Guns and Hoses blood drive.  Approximately 53 units of blood were collected during the two-day blood drive, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Shannon White with United Blood Services stated that the flow of donors was steadier the second day than the first. The competition was closer this year than in past years. The Poteau Fire Department was the overall winner with 26 potential donors showing their support and 25 for the Police Department.
