At least two narcotics search warrants were served in Poteau on Wednesday by the Drug Task Force.
The first was on Grace Street. Michael Morrison was taken to the Poteau Police Department for booking then transported to the LeFlore County Detention Center after DTF as well as area and local police departments recovered a quarter ounce of methamphetamine from Morrison's residence along with various paraphernalia. His wife and three children were home at the time. Morrison is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent of distributing, possession of paraphernalia and possession with intent of distributing in the presence of a minor child under the age of 12. The second warrant was served on Paul Mathis in Poteau. Alice and Joela Constanza along with Nikki Beebe were at the home when law enforcement arrived to exercise the warrant. Drug paraphernalia was found and the K-9 officer, Boss, and his handler, Derek Woodral of the Heavener Police Department searched the area outside the home. J. Constanza was taken into custody for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. |
