Law enforcement personnel and private citizens combed an area near Hodgen all day Thursday in search of Dusty Nichole Loggians.
According to LeFlore County Sheriff Bruce Curnutt, Loggains was last seen at approximately 4 p.m., Aug. 30. She is described as being 36 years of age, 5' 2", 110 lbs. with blue eyes and brown hair. Her husband, Michael Todd Loggains, reported her missing Wednesday and told officials that she had gone to a hunting cabin on private land south of Hodgen on Aug. 30. She had driven her vehicle to the cabin and had planned to spend the night. "Her car is at the cabin, her purse is inside but her whereabouts are unknown," Curnutt said. "A BOLO notification was issued last night (Wednesday) when her husband filled out the missing persons report." Curnutt stated that deputies as well as neighbors in the area began combing the area with four-wheelers hoping to find Loggains who may be in need of medical attention. A rescue boat was also used on a creek which runs through the property. "We have no reason to suspect foul play," Curnutt added. "We have questioned other family members and no one has seen or heard from her since Aug. 30. The search continued throughout Thursday until dusk. "We're hoping she is visiting friends and returns safely," Curnutt said.
Anyone with information concerning Loggains and/or her whereabouts should contact the LeFlore County Sheriff's Office at 918-647-2317 immediately. |
