Leslie Ann Taylor was crowned Miss Carl Albert State College on Thursday in the 30th-annual installment of the pageant.
Taylor, an Allied Health major from Poteau, will receive a full tuition waiver from CASC and may now select from a number of scholarship opportunities at several universities.
She will compete in the Miss Oklahoma competition in June and will receive $1,000 for wardrobe and travel expenses.
Taylor won the talent competition with her vocal performance of “A Love That Will Last.”
The audience also chose her as Crowd Pleaser.
Other contestants included Tayler Arm-strong, Kenda O’Neal, Kirsten LaRosa, Lindsey Smith, Tiffany Castillo, and Brooke Cooper.
