Paeton Anderson had the opportunity to tell Santa what she wanted with her mom, Lindsey, at the Poteau Mainstreet Matters Downtown Christmas kick off  last week.  Ping pong balls were dropped in the Pocket Park and the participants who retrieved them will receive no sales tax in the participating downtown stores.  Everyone is encouraged to shop locally downtown this Christmas and keep the tax dollars helping Poteau and LeFlore County.  Horse-drawn carriage rides were also given and great discounts will be found downtown throughout Christmas.
