Spider and Matt Webb of Spider Webb Farm Implements in Poteau recently made a generous donation to the LeFlore County Department of Human Services Foster Children Fund for the 2009 Holiday Season. Spider has been supporting this worthy cause for nearly 50 years and is proud that his son is carrying on the holiday giving tradition in the area. "When I first sponsored the program, there were only eight kids that we were helping. Now, DHS is providing for significantly more children throughout the county and our family is proud to do whatever we can to help," Webb said. Sevilla Vance, LeFlore County DHS Director, gladly accepted the check and noted, "Our community is very fortunate to have people like Spider and Matt to contribute at this time of year when there is such a need. " If anyone would like to donate to this great holiday cause, please contact Sevilla Vance at the LeFlore County Department of Human Services at 918-647-2300.
