Image

John Locke, Secretary of Poteau Masonic Lodge #46, along with Betty Lou Ford, Field Representative for Congressman Dan Boren, recently presented Pocola Elementary School with a U.S. flag. Accepting the flag were Elementary Principal Kay Anderson and the Librarian Norma Burson as well as the second grade class. Burson had approached Locke at the District Meeting at Mosholatubbee Lodge and told him she needed a U.S. flag so that the students could do the Pledge of Allegiance and Ford provided the flag on behalf of the Congressman.
