Drivers on along Poteau's main thoroughfare were delayed Wednesday during their morning cummute when several emergency services personnel responded to this two-vehicle accident at the corner of North Broadway and Wilson. Police, fire and EMS responded at approximately 9:45 a.m. after the red PT Cruiser (in the foreground) allegedly ran through the red light and sideswiped the Honda Accord. The Hurst Tool (Jaws of Life) was used to extricate the driver of the Honda. The driver was then transported to Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center for treatment.
