PDN photo by Gayleen Draper Traffic was slowed Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m. in front of KFC/Taco Bell in Poteau following a two-vehicle accident. According to Poteau Patrolman Jeremy Lamb, the driver of the motorcycle, a white male, age 52 of Shady Point, was southbound on Broadway when a red Blazer driven by a white female, age 18, of Howe, pulled out from the KFC parking lot to cross over to the northbound lane of Broadway. The motorcycle struck the driver side rear passenger door of the Blazer and the rider was thrown from the motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was transported via LeFlore County EMS to a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital for treatment. The driver of the Blazer was unhurt. Names of those involved were not released at press time.
