LeFlore County Fair Began Thursday

They are looking to see how close the product comes to the top of the lid, the appearance and the seal. The LeFlore County Fair began Thursday with the exhibits being judged. Today, fair goers can see the rabbit show which begins at 1 p.m.

Brian Freking, LeFlore County OSU Extenstion Agent (right), is providing Tony Johnson of Wilburton, with guidelines used for judging the many different exhibits at the LeFlore County Fair in Poteau at the fairgrounds. The fair will continue through Saturday.

PDN photo by Laura YoungImageMisty Collins taught the CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) mini science courses during Academic Quest 2007 at Pansy Kidd Middle School. The students were asked to “solve a crime” by testing to see if a person had been “murdered” with “poison.”
