David Donathan (left), loan officer at Arvest Bank in Poteau, holds the kid steady for Arvest Branch Manager Craig Hall as he lays one on this goat brought in especially for the event Friday afternoon. Hall had challenged the bank employees to raise $200 for United Way in two days. If they were successful, he promised that he and bank employee Jack Farley would kiss a goat. The employees were successful – so were Hall and Farley. No one is sure how successful it was for the goat.
