Vikings get swept in Midwest Scouting Service Challenge

November 4, 2013

With 3:30 left in the second half, the Carl Albert State College Vikings trailed by seven points, and that is when foul trouble with multiple players cost them in their 92-73 loss to ninth-ranked South Plains College in the second and final day of the Midwest Scouting Service Challenge on Sunday morning in Dallas.
Despite outscoring the 16th-ranked Howard, Texas by seven points in the second half, it wasn't enough for the Vikings in their 68-61 season-opening loss on Saturday morning.
The next game for the Vikings is the home opener and homecoming game against the Bacone College junior varsity at 8 p.m. Thursday at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
